It feels strange to step away, while calming and liberating at the same time. I am realizing how much work has defined my life over the last ten years. Over the next few months, I will use this space to write more about my journey. I want to use the time off to reflect on my life and my work. I want to figure out how I want to live and work differently when the sabbatical is over. I am hoping the time off will allow me to disconnect from outside noise and demands.
